This seminar provides a comprehensive and practical overview of working successfully with labs, designers, printers and pre press services, and the often confusing and conflicting options involved in preparing images for printing.
Both RGB and CMYK print processes are discussed, including the comparison and selection of output gamuts, the compression of out-of-gamut colours, and accurate proofing. Magazine, sheet fed, inkjet and digital-photographic outputs are compared and contrasted, with an emphasis on preserving image integrity across these different media.
